M1 A2 Review
Mi A1, launched last year, was a successful success. Many factors contributed to its superb success. The biggest, of course, is the fact that this was the first Xiamy phone to run the company's MIUI software. Instead, MI A1 was part of Google's Android One program, which means that it runs almost the stock version of Android software. In fact, Mi A1 was the phone that breathed fresh life in Google's Android One program, set an example for others to follow suit. Many brands have been adhered to. But the good thing about the Mi A1 of Xiamen was that it had good hardware too.
A combination of good hardware and vanilla software meant that Mi A1 was shining fast, it does not matter how you pushed it. Even more for a lower price of Rs 14,999
Its successor, Mi A2, is perhaps one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Like a high end Samsung Galaxy or an Apple iPhone. It is saying a lot about Xiamen and especially Mi A1, which has created great reputation for itself in a short span of time. Fans, enthusiasts and critics were waiting for Xiamami to see what he would do next. MI A2 is here now and now that I have ever spent with it, I can say one thing with great confidence. It was well worth the wait.
The truth should be told, everyone knew what to expect from Mi A2. This was China-specific Mi5 X which eventually became MI A1. Ever since Xiamen launched MI6X, it was estimated that it would be. As it turns out, it was. MIA2 is actually a MI6X built again, however I want to point out that Mi A2 which will come to India, will be slightly different from the company that launched in Europe. This means that there will never be any difference in specs and variants, which will come to India on August 8 when Xiamen formally announced the phone for this market.
But MI is coming back to A2 and it is not very different from MI6X. Everything from the core hardware to the design scheme remains the same. The software inside the phone is different. Unlike MI6X, Android Oreo-based MIUI 9, MI A2 Vanilla Android 8.1 runs Oreo software. Like the Nokia 7 Plus
It is said that, although Xiammy Mi A2 runs around 100 percent of Android and Android phones, the phone also runs a ship with some weird Xiamen apps. In addition, in the case of Mi-A2, the camera app is again marking Xiamy. It is similar to things in Mi A1 too, so Xiamy still sticks on the script, keeps things tight in the extra application department. Note that Android One does not explicitly order third-party OEMs to keep the 'n' number of additional apps on their device, so Xiamen's efforts are appreciated here.
For major updates, Mi A2 is expected to receive at least two major updates in the future, but to fulfill its promise of rapid updates in MI A1, how difficult things are going to get for Xiami, MI? Or not A2 will be any better or worse some time just tell well.
Let's give the benefit of doubt to Xiamen, though Mi A1 was the first device for a separate software but not a ship with MIUI. And Xiamami is still a young brand which has repeatedly proved that it is eager to learn and improve. Hopefully the MI A2 software scene will be better.
Appearance and hardware, Mi A2 is a Xiammy phone, and if you know the company that you know better, then it is not disappointed in these departments. Especially with regard to their budget and mid-level equipment Mi A2, as mentioned earlier, is an MI6X built again.
In the case of design, it looks a lot like the Redmi Note 5 Pro and MI 5X / MI A1. Front is larger and bezel-less, while the rear dual camera module reminds me of how things are running on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The antenna placement is consistent with things on MI 5X / MI A1, which means that there is also a metal unibody phone with antenna located on the extreme end of the Mi-A2 device, so you are more likely to notice them. In the case of Redmi Note 5 Pro, they are placed in the right place where you can see them, and as a result of these results the top and bottom ends are plastic.
MI A2 comes with a 21.99-inch 'full-screen' full-HD + display, with 2160x1080p resolution and 403ppi pixel density. Also, it supports the unusual aspect ratio of 18: 9 compared to conventional conventional 16: 9. The phone measures 7.3 mm in thickness and is protected upward by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In India, MI A2 will be available for purchase in four different colors: Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold. It is different from Mi A2 European version which was launched on 24 July in Spain. Xiamy MI will sell A2 in only three colors, i.e. black, gold and blue.
In the case of core hardware, MI A2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage which is also expandable. Xiamy is not going to bring all the memory configurations of Mi-A2 in India, the company has confirmed India Today Tech. Aadhar version which is not coming in India with 4GB RAM and 32 GB storage, which leaves us with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage configuration. It essentially means that buying MIA2 will be more expensive than Mi A1, and because the original version of Mi A2 is not coming to India, buyers of the country will have to open even more.
Going forward, MI A2 is a dual sim phone that supports 4G LTE connectivity. MI A2 is supported by 3,010 mAh battery, and USB Type C is charged. Mi A2 India Edition will support Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 technology, the company has also confirmed India Today Tech. Mi A2 European version supports Quick Charge 3.0 But there is a catch too. Xiamy will not bundle a quick charge 4.0 Compliance Charger in the box in India. Mi A2 India edition will ship with 10W charger instead, and Xiammi has confirmed that there is no plan to launch a certified accelerated charge 4.0 Charger in India through its MiIin online store.
India will have to open more to keep hands on Mi A2 and with the option of MI A2 Lite, is not available to the buyer here, even after the trade is closed for Xiamen, it will not be easy that this new phone table Will bring on One thing that's actually standing so far is that MI A2 does not headphone with Jack and instead you add a dongle in the box to add your headphone. Like the more prominent Mi Mix 2 And MIA2 is clearly moving towards the bracket of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, you can say that for the company's question it is more than just another mid-level phone.
It would be wrong to say that Mi A2 is a Mi Mix 2 replacement, but at this time there is a lack of flagship flagship phone in India in Xiamen, it helps to fill the vacuum. And MI A2 has both the hardware and it seems to back up the premium that Xiamy is going to ask for it. Check out this place for our full review of the Xiammy Mi A2 in the coming days.
